Our Client, a well-known charity based in Central London, is currently looking for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

You will provide comprehensive financial support to the Heads of Department in the preparation of budgets and financial data, you will work closely with the Head of Finance and the Director of Programmes and other members of the Programmes team.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Provide support and advise in the preparation of departmental budgets in readiness for submission to the Executive Committee and Board
- Liaise with the Head of Finance to ensure budgets for fund-raising proposals are financially viable and accurate prior to submission
- Assist in the financial preparation of the annual plan & budget
- Assist in the development and provide general budget guidance to budget holders to ensure consistent and realistic budgets are prepared
Person Specification:
- Hold a recognised accounting qualification or be a finalist
- Previous experience working within a similar role, working with budgets, budget holders and the consolidation of budgets in Excel
- Experience of developing advanced spreadsheets in Excel (including use of Macros, Vlookup and other analytical functions)
