A fantastic opportunity for a strong and methodical Business Analyst has come about in a renowned organisation based in the city. This role predominately involves managing delivery of data-driven insights and analytics solutions to FMCG and retail clients as well as assisting in the companys business development activities with analytical support.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis in a retail or FMCG environment,be an experienced user of data analysis tools (e.g. Business Intelligence tools, SPSS, SAS, The Shop) and have excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
Key responsibilities:
-Deliver strategic insights and make commercially meaningful recommendations on category and brand performance and promotional effectiveness
-Identify new revenue opportunities for the business within FMCG client base
-Research/monitor industry trends and related competitive threats; assess new market opportunities
The role requires a thorough understanding of data analysis techniques and delivery technology combined with the ability to act as an advocate and consultant to FMCG companies,ensuring solutions are delivering benefits. Strong influencing skills are essential for successfully developing internal and external relationships.
